finally made it back to edinburgh, after a long twenty-four hours of travelling and now getting sorted for the new term ahead. edinburgh is very cold and frosty, but with stunning blue skies and sunshine you can hardly mind the cold when edinburgh is just as beautiful as when i left. it really is a stunning city, although wandering around today it was quite sad seeing everyone's christmas trees out on the pavements for collection. it's officially the end of the christmas holiday season and we'll just have to wait another year for mulled wine, gingerbread, mince pies and christmas cake! i can't help but feel a bit sad about leaving my family in the gorgeous warmth, so i'm going to make a point of immersing myself truly in the edinburgh student life. hopefully some snaps of my wonderful holiday will be coming soon, i'll keep you posted :) x
